BIOGRAPHY

Dr John Wakabayashi, a San Francisco Bay Area native, moved to Fresno in 2005 to begin his academic career as a geology professor at California State University, Fresno. He received his B.A. in geology in 1980 from UC Berkeley, and his Ph.D. in geology in 1989 from UC Davis (advisor: Eldridge Moores). The Jahn’s Lecturer, John Wakabayashi, will be in Reno on Wednesday,December 6, 2017. Please note that in your calendars as this will replace our regular third Thursday meeting date.

The monthly section meetings are held every third Thursday of the month, unless notified otherwise. Try to bring an interested friend or a co-worker to the monthly meetings so we can keep attendance high.
